Crataegus orientalis (Pallas Ex. Bieb) tohumlarının çimlenmesi üzerine ekim zamanı ve bazı ön işlemlerin etkisi

Abstract

Crataegus orientalis (Pallas. Ex.Bieb ) TOHUMLARININ ÇİMLENMESİ ÜZERİNE EKİM ZAMANI VE BAZI ÖNİŞLEMLERİN ETKİSİ Bu çalışmada Crataegus orientalis (Pallas. Ex.Bieb ) tohumlarının çimlenmesi üzerine farklı ekim zamanlarının ve bazı ön işlemlerin etkilerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla temmuz ve ağustos aylarında yaz ekimi, eylül, ekim ve kasım aylarında sonbahar ekimi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Ekimlerden önce tohumlara 3, 6, 9, 12 ve 15 saat sülfürik asitte muamele ve 2, 4, 6, 8 ve 10 gün küllü suda bekletme önişlemleri uygulanmıştır. Ekimlerde 4 tekrarlı rastlantı parselleri deneme deseni kullanılmıştır. Ekimler Şavşat Orman İşletme Müdürlüğü Susuz Orman Fidanlığında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda ön işlemlerin C. orientalis tohumlarının çimlenme yüzdesi üzerine etkisinin önemsiz olduğu belirlenirken, ekim zamanının etkisinin önemli olduğu belirlenmiştir. Çalışmada temmuz, ağustos, eylül ve ekim aylarında çimlenme elde edilmiştir. Kasım ayında gerçekleştirilen ekimlerden ise çimlenme sağlanamamıştır. Çimlenme yüzdesi bakımından sülfürik asitte ve külü suda bekletme işlem grupları arasında da önemli bir farklılık bulunmamaktadır. Elde edilen sonuçlara dayanarak C. orientalis tohumlarının çimlenme engeli derecesinin yüksek olduğu ve giderilebilmesi için işlem süre ve sayılarının artırılması gerektiği söylenebilir.

In this study, it was aimed to determine the effects of different sowing times and pretreatments on the germination of Crataegus orientalis (Pallas. Ex.Bieb) seeds. For this purpose, summer sowing (in July and August), autumn planting (in September, October and November) and spring sowing. (in April) were carried out. Prior to summer and autumn sowing, the seeds were pretreated with sulfuric acid for 3, 6, 9, 12 and 15 hours and with ash water for 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 days. Random parcels with four replication were used as a sowing pattern. Summer and autumn sowings were carried out at Şavşat Forest Management Directorate Susuz Forest Nursery. As a result of the study, it was determined that the effect of sowing time was important, while the effect of pre-treatments on the germination percentage of C. orientalis seeds was found to be insignificant. Germination was obtained in July, August and September and October, and germination was not achieved in November. There is no significant difference in germination percentage between the sulfuric acid and ash solution treatment groups. Based on the results obtained in the study, it can be said that the germination degrees of C. orientalis seeds is high and it is necessary to increase the processing time and numbers in order to eliminate it.
