Şeyhülislam Batumlu Mirza Mustafa Efendi’nin elimizdeki Haşiye’si de mezkûr âlimlerinin edebî ve dilsel kültürlerinin derinliğiyle onların Arap Dili ilimlerindeki otoritelerini göstermektedir. Neticede, bu dönemde yaşamış âlimler, tüm gayretlerini –muhakkik âlimlerin, her ilimde benimsenmesi mümkün olan metodlarını takip ederek- Kur’an’ı Kerim’in üslûbunun ortaya konulmasına ve ayetlerdeki dilsel yapının açıklanmasına sarf etmişlerdir.The Scientific movements in the time of Ottoman Caliphate was not far from Arabic Language and its’ sciences. The main reason of this issue is severe desire of teaching and learning the Holy Quran and Islamic Law. There are a lot of Scholars who dominant on Arabic Language and its’ Sciences in this period for the important duties in the Caliphate. For example, the annotation belongs to Mirza Mustafa Efendi from Batumi shows the intellectual degree of that times’ Scholar in the literary and culture and domination of Arabic Language Topics.
