Its consequences have reached beyond political discourses and are now challenging each part of social life including the economy. Turkey, hosting more than 3 million Syrian immigrants, is one of those countries facing economic nationalism towards the Syrian business in Turkey. This chapter aims to discuss the presence of Syrian immigrants' in Turkish economy and to illustrate how nationalistic arguments are found voice in their contribution/ or treat in economic development. With this aim, a literature analysis will be applied for the theoretical part of the chapter. Newspapers and reports will be considered as a source to frame nationalistic arguments.
