The study was carried out during spring semester of 2010 educational periods. The sample of the study consisted of 120 pre-service teachers at the Department of Primary Teacher Education in Faculty of Education at Artvin Çoruh University. In the study, qualitative research method was used. As a result of study, it was found that pre-service teachers have knowledge about air, water, soil pollution, garbage problem and green house effect.
