El-câhız’ın sünnet/ hadis hakkındaki görüşleri

Abstract

Hz. Muhammad’s sunnah and hadiths has been always a centre of attention in Islamic culture. Until today, most of the discours has been made around the sunnah and hadith, focused on the problem of its belonging to Hz. Muhammad or true understanding and practising of the sunnah. Most striking matter that has been seen on these discussions, describing of the parties as hadith and sunnah denier each other. It is obvious that there has been a defensive and emotional psychology became effective on these descriptions. By the recently researchs made on the views of the school of Muʿtazilah (alJâhız was also a member of this school), it is appeared that the cliche about the Mu’tazilah’s denying of the hadith and sunnah is negated. Here, in this article we will try to definite of al-Jâhız’s ideas about sunnah and hadith without repeating the known and obvious knowledges.

Hz. Peygamber’in sünnet ve hadisleri, İslam kültürünün daima ilgi odağı olmuştur. Günümüze kadar sünnet ve hadis etrafında gerçekleşen söylemlerin çoğu, ya bu kaynakların Hz. Peygamber’e aidiyeti meselesi ya da sünnet’in doğru anlaşılması ve uygulanması üzerinde yoğunlaşmıştır. Bu tartışmalarda görülen en önemli husus tarafların birbirlerini sünnet ve hadis münkiri olarak vasıflandırmalarıdır. Şüphesiz bu vasıflandırmada savunmacılık ve duygusallık ön planda yer almaktadır. Son dönemlerde el-Câhız’ında içerisinde yer aldığı Mu’tezile ekolünün sünnet ve hadis hakkındaki görüşleri üzerine yapılan araştırmalarda “Mu’tezile’nin hadis münkiri” olduğuna dair ezberin bozulduğu görülmüştür. İşte bu makalede malumu ilam’dan ziyade bizzat kendi eserlerine dayanılarak el-Câhız’ın sünnet ve hadis konusundaki görüşleri tespit edilmeye çalışılacaktır.
