The aim of this study is to put forth the opinions of students studying at the department of Sport Management on the course of Sports Law. In this context, the study is a case study, which is a type of qualitative research design. The sample group of the study consists of 6 students studying at Ondokuz Mayıs University, Department of Sport Management. 8 semi-structured questions were prepared to find out students’ opinions about the course of sports law. The data obtained were transferred to Nvivo program and analysed with descriptive analysis method. The codes found as a result of the analysed data were assigned to appropriate themes and reported. As a result of the study, it was found that students did not follow legal regulations on sport most of the time; they attached great importance to the course of sports law; they thought sports law courses they received at university were not efficient and faculty members had sufficient knowledge but could not transfer their knowledge to students effectively. Therefore, it is recommended that students follow up-to-date developments on sports law, teaching staff considers the views of students while teaching and course hours are increased if necessary
