dc.description.abstractBu araştırmanın amacı “üniversite öğrencilerinin mesleki beklentilerinin, kariyer kararı verme öz-yetkinlikleriyle ilişkisini” incelemektir. Araştırma ilişkisel tarama modelinde yapılmış, nicel desenli bir çalışmadır. Araştırma İstanbul Aydın Üniversitesi İnsan Kaynakları Yönetimi ve Halkla İlişkiler ve Tanıtım Programlarına devam eden 164 meslek yüksekokulu öğrencisi ile yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, Kariyer Kararı Verme Öz-Yetkinlik alt boyutlarından Amaç Belirleme puanının Mesleki Beklentiler puanlarını %48 yordadığı, Bilgi toplama puanının Mesleki Beklentiler puanlarını %18 yordadığı tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca araştırmada öğrencilerin mesleki beklenti puanlarının cinsiyet, bölüm, sınıf düzeyi, mezun olunan lise türü ve ailesinin sosyo-ekonomik düzeyine göre farklılaşmadığı tespit edilmiştir.
dc.description.abstractThis study aims to examine the “relationship between professional expectations of university students and their selfcompetence of career decision-making.”. This correlational and quantitative study was carried out with 164 vocational school students who studied at the Department of Human Resources Management and Department of Public Relations and Publicity of Istanbul Aydın University. The study found that the scores obtained from the Objective Setting sub dimensions of the Self-Competence of Career Decision-Making predicted the scores on the Professional Expectations at the rate of 48% while the scores on Information Collection predicted them at the rate of 18%. The study also found that the students’ scores on the professional expectations did not differ based on sex, department, grade, type of high school from which they graduated, and socio-economic level of their parents.
