dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada okaliptüs(Eucalyptus camaldulensis Dehn.) odununun bazı fiziksel özellikleri araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla Tarsus yöresinden alınan 17 adet ağaçtan yararlanılmıştır ve deneyler TSE standartlarına göre hazırlanmış olan örnekler üzerinde yapılmıştır. Buharlanmış ve buharlanmamış okaliptüs odununun fiziksel özelliklerinden; odun –su ilişkileri belirlenmiştir. Sonuç olarak; buharlanmamış okaliptüs odununda daralma yüzdeleri liflere paralel yönde % 8, teğet yönde % 6.23, radyal yönde % 5, hacmen daralma % 11; buharlanmış okaliptüs odununda daralma yüzdeleri liflere paralel yönde % 6.88, teğet yönde % 9.82, radyal yönde % 7.88 ve hacimsel olarak 17,7 olarak bulunmuştur. Buharlanmış okaliptüs odununda ortalama genişleme miktarları, liflere paralel yönde % 8.04, teğet yönde % 9.77, radyal yönde % 7.42 genişleme ise % 17.13; buharlanmamışta ortalama genişleme miktarı, liflere paralel yönde % 9.46, teğet yönde 10.47, radyal yönde % 9.16 ve hacimsel olarak %19.66 olarak gerçekleşmiştir. Sonuçlar buharlanmış ve buharlanmamış olarak kendi arasında, aynı ağaç türü ve benzer ağaç türleri ve diğer çalışma sonuçlarıyla karşılaştırılmıştır.
dc.description.abstractIn this study, some physical properties of Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus Camaldulensis Dehn) wood were investigated. 17 trees used for experiments were obtained from Tarsus region and samples were then prepared in accordance with the related standards. It was determined physical properties of steamed or unsteamed Eucalyptus wood. It was determined wood –water relations of steamed or unsteamed Eucalyptus wood. Result indicated that for unsteamed Eucalyptus wood the shrinkage longitudinal %8, tangential % 6.23, radial % 5, volumetric %11; steamed the shrinkage longitudinal %6.88, tangential % 9.82 , radial % 7.88, volumetric %17.7 were obtained. For steamed Eucalyptus wood the mean values were as below swelling %8.04, tangential % 9.77, radial % 7.42, swelling %17.13; unsteamed the mean values were as below swelling %9.46, tangential % 10.47, radial % 9.16, volumetric %19.66 were obtained. The obtained results are compared as steamed or not steamed with the results of other studies on the same tree species wood and the other trees wood which.
