Özet
Bu çalışmada Türkiye’de turizm eğitimi alanındayapılan lisansüstü tezlerin incelenmesiamaçlanmıştır. Çalışmaya, Yüksek ÖğretimKurumu (YÖK) Ulusal Tez Merkezi veri tabanındakayıtlı lisansüstü tez içerisinden anahtar kelimesi“turizm eğitimi” olan tezler dâhil edilmiştir. Yapılantarama sonucunda anahtar kelimesi turizm eğitimiolan, farklı alanlarda yapılmış toplam 57 lisansüstütez olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu çalışmada, turizmeğitimi konulu lisansüstü tezlerin içerik analiziyapılarak, turizm eğitimi almış, almakta olan vealmayı düşünen öğrenci ve kişilere de bir yol çizmesiamaçlanmıştır. Çalışma neticesinde, dünyagenelinde önemli bir turizm destinasyonu olanülkemizde gerçekleştirilmiş “turizm eğitimi”konulu lisansüstü çalışmaların azlığı dikkatçekmiştir. Çalışma ile ilgili bir başka dikkat çekenkonu da, turizm başlıklı anabilim dallarının benzerisimde olması fakat farklı anabilim dalları olarakkullanılmasıdır. Otelcilik, seyahat, rehberlik veişletmecilik gibi turizm endüstrisini oluşturan temeldisiplinlerin ortak bir program çatısı altındatoplanması önerilmektedir.
In this study, it was aimed to examine the postgraduate theses in the field of tourism education in Türkiye. The graduate theses, which have been registered in the database of the National Thesis Center of the Council of Higher Education with the key word "tourism education" have been included in the study. As a result of the survey, it has been determined that there are a total of 57 graduate theses in different fields, which are key word tourism education. In this study, by analyzing the content of the postgraduate thesis on tourism education, it was aimed to create a road to students and persons who have received, studied and thinking to receive tourism education. As a result of the study, the importance of postgraduate studies on "tourism education" realized in our country, which is an important tourism destination all over the world, attracted attention. Another remarkable issue related to the study is the fact that tourism branches are used in similar names but as branches of different branches. It is recommended that the basic disciplines that make up the tourism industry such as hospitality, travel, guidance and business management should be gathered under a common program framework.
