dc.description.abstractBu araştırmanın amacı hidroelektrik santrallerin (HES) toplumsal açıdan sosyal farkındalık düzeyini ortaya koyabilmektir. Araştırmanın verileri Artvin iline bağlı Borçka ve Hopa ilçelerinde yaşayan 200 kişiden anket tekniği ile toplanmıştır. Araştırmada geliştirilen ölçek aracılığıyla yenilebilir enerji kaynaklarının önemi, sosyal fayda ve sosyal maliyetleri bireylerin perspektifinden ortaya konulmuştur. Ayrıca hidroelektrik santrallerin bölge halkı nezdindeki farkındalık düzeyi irdelenmiştir. Yapılan bağımsız örneklem t testi sonuçları, demografik faktörlerden medeni durum ve cinsiyet başlıklarında yenilebilir enerji kaynakları, hidroelektrik santraller ve enerji yatırımlarının etkinliği gibi olgular itibariyle bireyler arasında anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığını göstermektedir. Ancak tek yönlü varyans analizinden elde edilen sonuçlar, özellikle eğitim düzeyi, yaş ve ikamet süresi başlıklarının bahsedilen olgular itibariyle bireylerin düşüncelerini farklı şekilde yapılandırdığını ortaya koymaktadır.
dc.description.abstractThe aim of this research is to reveal the awareness of social benefit and social cost on Hydroelectric Power Plants (HEPP). The data of the study is collected by using survey technique from 200 people living in Borcka and Hopa districts of Artvin. Through the scale developed in the research, the importance, social benefits and social costs of renewable energy sources are revealed from the perspective of individuals. Also, the level of awareness of the hydroelectric power plants in the region is examined. The results of independent sample t test show that there is no significant difference between individuals in terms of demographic factors such as marital status and gender, renewable energy sources, hydroelectric power plants and efficiency of energy investments. However, according to the results of one-way ANOVA analysis of variance, it is understood that the titles of education level, age and residence time form the basis of the differences of thought of individuals in terms of the mentioned cases.
