| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışma, Artvin ilinin lojistik altyapısında Hopa Limanı’nın rolünü incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Hopa Limanı’ndan gerçekleşen yük hareketliliği, Artvin ekonomisinin bölgesel ve ulusal düzeydeki lojistik performansını değerlendirmek için temel alınmıştır. Çalışmada, T.C. Ulaştırma ve Altyapı Bakanlığı’ndan temin edilen yük istatistikleri verileri kullanılmıştır. Bu verilerden elde edilen grafikler üzerinden 2009-2023 dönemi boyunca Hopa Limanı’nda gerçekleşen yük hareketliliğinin seyri analiz edilmiştir. Ayrıca Hopa limanının, Türkiye genelindeki ve Doğu Karadeniz bölgesindeki diğer limanlar içindeki rolü de incelenmiştir. Bu çerçevede, taşınan yük hacimleri ve bölgenin ticari bağlantıları analiz edilerek, Artvin’in lojistik potansiyeli ve gelişim fırsatları araştırılmıştır. Araştırma bulguları, Hopa Limanı’nın yük hareketliliğinin yıllar içinde azalma eğiliminde olduğunu ve limanın kapasitesi ve özellikleri göz önüne alındığında potansiyelinin oldukça altında bir performans sergilediğini ortaya koymaktadır. Ayrıca, limanın transit ticaretten yeterli payı alamadığı tespit edilmiştir. Bu durumun iyileştirilmesi amacıyla, limanı besleyen geri sahalardaki üretim ve lojistik altyapısının güçlendirilmesi ve limanın uluslararası ticaret yollarına entegrasyonunun sağlanması gerektiği vurgulanmaktadır. | |
| dc.description.abstract | This study aims to examine the role of Hopa Port in the logistics infrastructure of Artvin. The freight movement from Hopa Port was used as the basis for evaluating Artvin’s logistics performance at both regional and national levels. The freight statistics data obtained from the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Turkey were used in the study. The trend of freight movement at Hopa Port during the period 2009-2023 was analyzed using the graphs obtained from these data. In addition, the role of Hopa Port among other ports in Turkey and the Eastern Black Sea region was also examined. In this context, the volumes of freight transported, and the region's commercial connections were analyzed to explore Artvin's logistics potential and development opportunities. The research findings reveal that Hopa Port's freight movement has tended to decrease over the years and that the port performs well below its potential considering its capacity and characteristics. It has also been determined that the port has not received a sufficient share from transit trade. To improve this situation, it is emphasized that the production and logistics infrastructure in the back fields that feed the port should be strengthened and the port's integration with international trade routes should be ensured. | |
