Öğe The mediating role of green product innovation (GPI) between green human resources management (GHRM) and green supply chain management (GSCM): evidence from automotive industry companies in Turkey(Taylor and Francis Ltd., 2022) Kara, Karahan; Edinsel, SercanToday, the establishment of strong supply chain structures should be supported by a strong human resources management approach, as well as encompassing environmentalist and innovative approaches. At this point, this study has two main aims that include these requirements. The first aim is to determine whether the green human resources management (GHRM) of companies operating in the automotive industry has a direct impact on green supply chain management (GSCM). The second aim is to determine whether green product innovation (GPI) has a mediating effect in the relation GHRM and GSCM. Structural equation modelling is used to test the developed hypotheses. GHRM of automotive companies operating in Turkey has a significant positive effect on GSCM. In addition, GPI has a full mediating role in the relationship between GHRM and GSCM. Green-oriented should be establishment in the supply chain structures. Green-oriented human resources management approach is necessary to develop a green-oriented SCM. Warehouse management systems (WMS) are needed for successful warehouse management. With digitalization, alternative software programs for WMS have increased. In this study, the selection of the WMS software program for the general warehouse type is discussed. The main motivation of the research is to develop a suitable alternative selection methodology based on criteria for warehouse managers. The research is carried out in several stages. In the first stage, the software selection criteria are determined based on the literature review. In the second stage, the criteria are weighted with the criteria importance through the intercriteria correlation (CRITIC) method based on single-valued neutrosophic sets (SVNSs). In the third stage, alternatives for WMS software are ranked with the technique for order preference by similarity to an ideal solution (TOPSIS) based on SVNSs. Three decision-makers, four alternatives, and eight criteria are used in the study. The empirical research is conducted on a warehouse providing general storage services in Turkey. In addition, the sensitivity analyses are performed and the results are compared. According to the research findings, the most valuable criterion in WMS software selection is determined as “ease of use”. As a result of the research, suggestions are developed for WMS software manufacturers, warehouse managers, and researchers. The novelty of this research is that WMS selection is applied for the first time using multi-criteria decision-making methods.Öğe The mediating role of green information systems in the relationship between green supplier-customer knowledge and organisational green performance: An empirical analysis in the textile industry(Sosyoekonomi Society, 2023) Edinsel, Sercan; Kaygısız, Esra Gökçen; Kara, KarahanThis study discusses the effect of knowledge levels of green suppliers and customers on the green performance of organisations and the role of green information systems in this relationship. Four hypotheses were developed in the study. The research was carried out on textile companies operating in Bursa, Türkiye. Between August and September 2022, 495 surveys were collected. Green supplier and green customer knowledge levels have a positive and significant effect on organisational green performance. Green information systems fully mediate between green supplier knowledge and green organisational performance. However, green information systems partially mediate between green customer knowledge and organisational performance.
