Gümüşi ıhlamur (Tilia tomentosa) ve Kafkas ıhlamuru (Tilia rubra subsp. caucasica) tohumlarının çimlenmesi üzerine bazı ön işlemlerin etkisinin araştırılması

Özet
Bu çalışma, Muğla-Menteşe yöresinden toplanan Gümüşi Ihlamur (Tilia tomentosa) ve Artvin-Ardanuç Yöresinden toplanan Kafkas Ihlamuru (Tilia rubra subsp. caucasica) tohumlarının bazı ön işlemlere tabi tutularak çimlenme yüzdesinin belirlenmesi ve çimlenme engelinin giderilmesi amacıyla ele alınmıştır. Araştırmaya konu tohumlar 2017 yılı yaz sonunda Muğla-Menteşe yöresindeki Gümüşi Ihlamur(Tilia tomentosa)ve Artvin-Ardanuç yöresindeki Kafkas Ihlamuru (Tilia rubra subsp. caucasica)bireylerinden toplanıp, 5 farklı ön işlem uygulanarak sera ve açık alan koşullarında ekilmiştir.Uygulanan ön işlemler toplar toplamaz ekim(Ağustos sonu),dış kabuğu soyularak toplar toplamaz ekim (Ağustos sonu), ±4ºC'de buzdolabında bekletip sonbahar ekimi (Kasım ayı),6 ay soğuk katlama(±4Cº'de)ve ilkbahar ekimi (Mart ayı), 2 ay sıcak katlama(±24Cº'de)+ 4 ay soğuk katlama (±4C°) ve ilkbahar ekimidir(Mart ayı).Tohumlar her işlem 3 tekrarlı olmak üzere ve her işlemde 180 tohum kullanılarak açık alan ve sera koşullarında ekilmiştir. En yüksek çimlenme yüzdeleri her iki türde de 6 ay soğuk katlamaya alınıp ilkbaharda (15 Mart) ekilen tohumlardan elde edilmiştir. En yüksek çimlenmeler 6 ay soğuk katlamada bekletilip, sera ortamında (% 45.6) ve açık alan koşullarında (%45.2) ekilen Kafkas Ihlamuru tohumlarında belirlenmiştir.
This study was carried out to determine the effects of some pre-treatments including cold stratification for 6 months, warm stratification for 2 months and cold stratification for 4 months, sowing semi-mature seeds at the end of August with pericap and without pericarp and autumn sowing unde both open field and greenhose conditions on seed germination and to investigate how to overcome dormancy of Tiliatomentosa and Tiliarubra subsp. caucasica seeds. The seeds were sown at at 24±1°C in the greenhouse and under open field conditions. The statistical approach was a randomized complete block design with three replications. Germinated seeds were observed periodically during 90 days to determine germination percentages. The highest germination percentages of Tiliarubra subsp. caucasicawere obtained from the seeds used6-month cold stratification and sown under both open field and greenhouse conditionswith 45.2% and 45.6%, respectively. On the other hand, the highest germination percentage (11.8%) for Tilia tomentosa were obtained from the the seeds cold strafied for 6 months which were sown under open field conditions. It can be said that the effect of cold stratification pre-treatments on germination of the seeds had positively.
