dc.description.abstractBu araştırmanın amacı, öğrenci görüşlerine göre, öğretmenlerin mesleki etik ilkelere uyma düzeylerini belirlemektir. Bu amaçla, araştırmada genel tarama mo deli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, 2010–2011 öğretim yılında Artvin Merkez ilçesinde bulunan 6 ilköğretim okulunun 4, 5, 6, 7 ve 8. sınıflarına devam eden 617 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Bu araştırmada veriler araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen 30 maddelik Öğrenci Algısına Göre Öğretmen Etik Değerler Ölçeği ile toplanmıştır. Ölçeğin Cronbach Alfa güvenirlik katsayısı 0,95 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Ölçekle elde edilen veriler, yüzde, frekans, ortalama ve t testi ile çözümlenmiştir. Araştırma sonucuna göre, öğrenciler öğretmenlerinin mesleki etik ilkelere genel olarak “çok” düzeyinde uyduklarını belirtmişlerdir. Öğrenci görüşlerinde, cinsiyet ve sınıf düzeyi değişkenine göre anlamlı farklılıklar bulunmuştur. Kız öğrenciler, öğretmenlerinin etik ilkelere uyma düzeylerini, erkek öğrencilerden anlamlı derecede daha yüksek bulmuşlardır. Sınıf düzeyi değişkenine göre, 4. ve 5. sınıf öğrencileri, öğretmenlerinin etik ilkelere uyma düzeylerini, 6, 7 ve 8. sınıf öğrencilerinden anlamlı derecede daha yüksek bulmuşlardır.
dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study is to determine the level of teachers' complying with professional ethics principles, based on their students' opinions. To that end, survey model was used in this study. The sample of this study consists of 617 elementary school students in the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th grades of 6 elemtary schools in Artvin in the 2010-2011 academic year. In this study, the data were colleced using a 30-item teacher ethics value scale developed by the resarchers which captured students' perceptions. The Cronbach's alpha reliability coefficient of the scale was calculed as 0.95. the data gathered using the scale were analyzed , using percentage, frequency, mean, and t-test. According to resarch results, students state that teachers conform to professional ethics principles at 'high' level. Significant differences were found among students in terms of gender and grade level variables. Female students determined at a statistically significantly higher level than male students that their teachers complied with professional ethics principles. In terms of grade level variables, 4th and 5th grade students determined the level of teachers' complying with proeffional ethics principles significantly higher than 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.
