| dc.description.abstract | İslâm’da cihâdın mahiyeti modern dönemde hakkında en çok tartışma yürütülen mevzulardandır. Gayr-ı müslim devletlerle Müslümanlar arasındaki ilişkilerin temelini savaş ahkâmının teşkil ettiğini vurgulayarak İslam’ın cihad anlayışını tenkit eden oryantalist fikir adamlarına karşı modern dönem Müslüman aydınlarının büyük çoğunluğu, Müslümanların gayr-ı müslim dünya ile ilişkilerinin barışçıl bir karakter arz ettiğini iddia etmişlerdir. Mahmud Şeltut cihad hakkındaki oryantalist iddialara cevap vermek için İslâm’da cihadın mahiyetine dair müstakil eser yazmış Mısır merkezli modern selefi hareketin önemli isimlerindendir. Sırf müdafaa savaşından ibaret bir cihad yorumunu benimsemiş gözüken Şeltut’un bu yönelişinin temelinde klasik anlama-yorumlama yöntemlerine yönelik muhalefet ve onlardan farklı yeni veya modern olarak isimlendirebileceğimiz bir metodolojik yaklaşım söz konusudur. Biz bu makale çerçevesinde Şeltut’un yeni anlama-yorumla yöntemini cihad ayetleri özelinde tetkike ve bu yeni metodolojik yaklaşımın nasları anlamak noktasındaki muhtemel problemlerine işaret etmeye gayret sarf edeceğiz. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The nature of jihad in Islam is one of the most controversial issues in the modern period. While orientalist intellectuals who criticize Islam's understanding of jihad by emphasizing that the basis of the relations between non-Muslim states and Muslims is the rule of war, the majority of Muslim intellectuals of the modern period claimed that the relations of Muslims with the non-Muslim world had a peaceful character. Ma?m?d Shalt?t who wrote an independent work on the nature of jihad in Islam to respond to orientalist claims about jihad is one of the important names of the modern Salafist movement based in Egypt. It can be suggested that the basis of this orientation of Shalt?t, which seems to have adopted a jihad interpretation consisting of a mere defensive war, is constituted by methodological searches that we can call new or modern, different from classical understanding-interpretation methods. Within the framework of this article, it will be examined the new understanding-interpretation method of Shalt?t in particular with the verses of jihad and to point out the possible problems of these new searches in particular of Shalt?t. | |
