Özet
This investigation was carried out between 1997 and 2013 in order to research the forest vegetation of Artvin. This vegetation was studied according to the traditional Braun Blanquet approach. The plant associations were classified by considering characteristic species.. The forest vegetation of Artvin may also be divided into 2 main classes: Quercetea pubescentis and Querc(!-Fagetea. A total of 500 quadrats were examined. in this investigation, 9 plant associations belonging to forest vegetation types have been detennined. Syntaxonomical interpretation of these associations is shown below
