Özet
Salih Bey Camii, Artvin’in Çayağzı Mahallesi'ndedir. Bu mahallenin eski adı Korzul'dur. Camii 1790 yılında Salih Bey yaptırmıştır. Camiinin ilk imam ve hatibi de cami yaptıran Salih Bey'dir. Onun ölümü üzerine oğlu Süleyman atanmıştır. Sonraki tarihlerdeki atamalarda babadan oğula intikal etmiştir. Artvin'in işgal altında olduğu yıllarda yakılan cami, ahali tarafından tamir ettirilmiştir. Giriş kapısının üzerinde sekiz satırlık kitabesi vardır. Çeşitli tarihlerde tamir ettirilen cami, halen ibadete açıktır. Caminin yanında Sat Bey'in yaptırdığı bir çeşme vardır. Kitabesine göre çeşme 1810 yılında yapılmıştır. Çalışmada, Osmanlı dönemindeki yapılan camilerden Artvin merkezde bulunan Çarşı Cam, Orta Cam ve Hasan Beşe Cam hakkında da bilgi verilmiştir. 1862 yılında yaptırılan Çarşı Cam, 1953 yılından sonra temellerindeki çökme nedeniyle yıktırılmış yerine 1954-1956 arasında yenden yapılmıştır. Orta Cam se 1783'ten sonra yaptırılmıştır. Adını bulunduğu mahalleden almıştır. Hasan Beşe Cam, Hasan Beşe tarafından yapılmıştır. Cam, Dere Mahallesi'ndeydi. Bu camilerini bazıları onarılmış, bazıları yıkılmış ya da yanmıştı. Bu nedenlerden ötürü tamir edilerek ya da yenden yapılarak ibadete açılmışlardır.

After hs death, hs son Süleyman was attaned as Imam and preacher. Later, the Imam system was passed from the father to the son. Durng the nvason perod of Artvn, the mosque was set on fre. Later, the local people restorated the mosque. There s an eght sentenced wrtten scrpture on the the door of entrance. Nowadays, people worshp n the mosque that was repared on varous prevous dates. Next to the mosque, there s a fountan bult by Sat Bey. The fountan was bult n 1810. In ths study, also the nformaton about The Çarşı Mosque, The Orta Mosque and The Hasan Beşe Mosque bult durmg the Ottoman Era has been gven . The Çarşı Mosque was bult n 1862. Due to the collapse of the ground-work of the mosque after 1953, t was demolshed and rebult between 1953-1956. The Orta Mosque was bult after 1783. It took ts name from the street. The Hasan Beşe Mosque was bult by Hasan Beşe. It was n Dere Street. Some of these mosques were repared, some demolshed or burned-out. Because of these reasons they were restorated or rebult for people's worshppng
