| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışma Artvin’in Ardanuç ilçesinin ortaçağ boyunca hangi kavimler tarafından istila edildiği, bu istilaların bölgeye etkileri ve bölgenin tarihi önemi üzerine yapılmış bir incelemedir. Bu bağlamda bölgenin ortaçağ öncesine de değinilmiştir. Ortaçağ boyunca Gürcü, Doğu Roma, Sasani, İslam, Türk ve Moğol hakimiyet mücadelelerinin içinde yer almıştır. Bir yandan Doğu Roma-Sasani mücadelesi, bir yandan Türk-Gürcü mücadelesi, bir yandan da Moğol istilaları Ardanuç ve çevresini etkilemiştir. Özellikle Bagratlıların bir kolu olan Ardahan-Artvin Bagratlılarından Büyük Aşot, ilk İberya-Kartlı Kralı Parnavaz’ın başkenti Mtsheta’dan ayrılarak Ardanuç’a gelmiştir. Artık Gürcü Krallığı’nın atalarını oluşturan Büyük Aşot için yeni başkent Ardanuç’tur. Büyük Aşot Ardanuç’u bölgede yer alan ticaret güzergahına dahil etmiştir. Bu sayede yaptığı ticaret ve aldığı vergilerle bölge büyük bir zenginliğe kavuşmuştur. Ardanuç ilerleyen yıllarda önce Kutaisi ardından Tiflis’in başkent olmasına kadar önemli bir kent olmaya devam etmiştir. Günümüzde küçük bir Anadolu ilçesi olan Ardanuç’ta geçmişin izlerini görmek mümkündür. Ortaçağdan kalma Müslüman ve Hristiyan eserler bu yerleşim yerinin pek çok millet için önemli olduğunu göstermektedir. Ardanuç yalnız Türk tarihinin değil Gürcü tarihinin de önemli bir safhasını oluşturmaktadır. | |
| dc.description.abstract | This is a historical brief study about Ardanuc city, a district in Artvin city that had been invaded long time ago by tribes throughout medieval age. This place has a very important history. This study also reveals the major events that occurred after the middle age, especially the different cultures that this place went through as it had being invaded by different countries. This context, the history of the middle ages is mentioned, In the medieval, Ardanuc had been stuck in a struggle for dominance between Georgians, East Roma Sassanians, Arabs, Turkish and Mongolians. Now let's focus on Ashot the great, one of the Ardahan-ArtvinBagraters and is regarded as the founder of the Georgian Bagrationi dynasty, left Mtskheta which is the capital of first Iberia-Card King Parnavaz and came to Ardanuc making it his capital. He then formed a tradeincluded the city of Ardanuc on the trade route in the region.this way, his trade and taxes it receives, these trading movements significantly gave the region great weath. However, Ardanuc kept playing a very important role for its country until Kutaisi took the reign and became the capital city, then Tbilisi took that title to be the capital, but Ardanuc, this small Anatolian city, still shows the traces of the past untiltoday.
