| dc.description.abstract | Konya, 20. yüzyıl başlarında beş sancak ve 25 kazadan oluşan büyük idari bir yapıdan oluşuyordu. Gerek bulunduğu coğrafi konum ve gerek ise fiziki yapısı nedeniyle zamanının modern şehirlerden biridir. Bu durumu nedeniyle de bünyesinde her türlü devlet kurumu ve binası bulunmaktaydı. Bunlara dair yapılan yazışmalar sayesinde hapishaneler konusunda oldukça fazla belgeye ulaşılmış ve bilgiler elde edilebilmiştir. Bu çalışmanın sınırlılığı; Osmanlı’nın son dönemi olan 20. yüzyıl başlarındaki Konya Vilayeti bünyesinde bulunan bazı hapishaneler olup; günümüzde sınırları içerisinde olmayan yerlerdeki hapishaneler hariç tutulmuştur. Söz konusu süreçte arşiv belgelerine dayandırılarak hapishanelerin fiziki yapısı, hapishane çalışanları, işledikleri suç şekilleri, mahkûm ve tutuklu sayıları, asayiş, güvenlik ve sağlık sorunları ile bu sorunların çözümüne yönelik gerçekleştirilen uygulamalar nelerdir? Sorularına cevaplar araştırılmış ve cevapları verilmiştir. | |
| dc.description.abstract | In the beginning of the 20th century, Konya had been a big administrative structure which was consisted of five sanjacks and twenty five districts . Due to its both geographical position and physical features, it was one of the modern cities of its time. Because of this, it had every kind of government institutions and government buildings on it. Owing to the correspondence regarding to these institutions, a great deal of documents had been reached and information could have been obtained. Limitedness of this study is some prisons in the Province of Konya, in the beginning of the 20th century which is the last period of the Ottomans. Prisons which are not in the today’s borders of the city are excluded. In the process aforementioned, the questions of the physical situations of the prisons, prison employees, crime types of the prisoners, numbers of the convicts and the prisoners, security, order and health problems, and the practices directed to solve these problems had been handled based upon the archive documents. | |
