Özet
Bu yazıda, Ahmet Mithat Efendi’nin “yeni hikmet”e bakışı ele alınmaktadır. Ahmet Mithat Efendi, “velud” bir yazardır. O, hem gazete yayınlar, hem gazetede yazı yazar. Ayrıca üniversitede (Darulfünun) felsefe dersleri verir. Ahmet Mithat Efendi, yeni felsefeyi, Schopenhauer üzerinden ele alır. Konuyla ilgili yazısını, önce gazete yayımlamış, daha sonra kitap olarak bastırmıştır. Bu anlamda o, ilk defa Türk fikir hayatında Batının felsefe problemleri üzerinde düşünen kişidir. İslam inanç değerlerine bağlıdır. Felsefeyi, üç ana dönemde anlamaktadır. Üçüncü dönem, yeni felsefe dönemidir.
In this paper, we will evaluate the view of Ahmet Mithat Efendi on new philosophy He is an author who writes a lot. He both publishes a newspaper and writes article on it. Additionally, he lectures on the history of philosophy in Istanbul university Dar al-fünun. He tackles new philosophy from the writings of Schopenhauer. He published new philosophy on newspaper and pressed as a book. In this context, he is a thinker of the problems of West in Turkish philosophy life first time. He believes in the values of Islam. He understands philosophy in three periods. The third period is new philosophy term.
