Özet
Bu çalışma kadınlar arası rekabetin neden ve nasıl gerçekleştiği sorusuna odaklanmaktadır. Psikolojik, sosyolojik ve evrimsel bakış açısı kadın erkek rekabetinin farklı detaylar üzerine inşa edildiğini iddia etmektedir. Bahsi geçen bilim dalları, kadınların erkeklerden daha farklı koşullarda rekabete girdiğini ve güç mücadelesini başka türlü verdiğini iddia etmektedir. Veriler, Ekşi Sözlük platformundan çekilmiştir. Ekşi Sözlük platformunda “kadınlar arası rekabet” başlığında öne çıkan paylaşımlar içerik ve söylem analizi ile değerlendirmeye alınmıştır. Toplamda 260 paylaşımın analizi yapılmış olup veriler, metaforlar, kadın rekabetinin nedenleri ve rekabetin sonuçları şeklinde üç ana başlıkta değerlendirilmiştir. Kullanıcı yorumlarında kadın rekabeti savaş değişkeni özelinde değerlendirilmiştir. Bacılık husumeti, cat fight (kedi savaşı) avlanması gereken et, psikolojik savaş, soğuk savaş, östrojen savaşı, ilkel savaş, gerilim filmi, şiddet içeren oyun, arketipe kadar inen dürtü, pembe taciz, Guelph’ler ve Ghibelline öne çıkan metaforik ifadelerdir. Kadınlar arasındaki rekabet, örgütlenmeyi zorlaştırmanın yanısıra dayanışma ve işbirliği süreçlerini de olumsuz etkilemektedir. Kadın rekabeti bir Sisifos sendromudur ve karşılığı yoktur.
This study focuses on the question of why and how competition between women occurs. Psychological, sociological and evolutionary perspectives claim that competition between women and men is built on different details. The mentioned branches of science claim that women compete under different conditions than men and give power struggles in a different way. The data were taken from the Ekşi Sözlük platform. The posts highlighted under the title of “competition between women” on the Ekşi Sözlük platform were evaluated with content and discourse analysis. A total of 260 posts were analyzed and the data were evaluated under three main headings as metaphors, reasons for women's competition and results of competition. Women's competition was evaluated in the user comments specifically for the war variable. Fish hostility, cat fight, meat to be hunted, psychological warfare, cold war, estrogen war, primitive war, thriller film, violent game, archetypal impulse, pink harassment, Guelphs and Ghibelline are the prominent metaphorical expressions. Competition between women not only makes organizing difficult but also negatively affects solidarity and cooperation processes. Female competition is a Sisyphus syndrome and has no reward.
