| dc.description.abstract | Artan nüfus ve sanayileşme ile birlikte katı atıkların hem çeşitliliği hem de miktarı gün geçtikçe artmaktadır. Endüstriyel tesislerinin yol açtığı en önemli sorunlardan biri de katı atıklardır. Özellikle endüstriyel kökenli atıkların içerdikleri ağır metal ve zehirli maddelerin yüzey ve yeraltı suları için oluşturdukları tehlike insan yaşamı ile yakından ilgilidir. Endüstriyel katı atıklar evsel, tehlikeli olmayan endüstriyel ve tehlikeli katı atıklar olarak üç sınıfa ayrılmaktadır. Endüstriyel katı atıkların yürürlükte olan kanun ve yönetmelikler çerçevesinde, çevreye zarar vermeden bertarafı zorunludur. Aksi halde, atıkların zararsız hale getirilmesinin veya bertarafının tekniğine uygun yapılmaması durumunda, yakın gelecekte olumsuz etkilerinin gündeme geleceği açıktır. Evsel katı atıklardan ziyade endüstriyel katı atıkların yönetimi katı atıkların çeşitliliği açısından çok daha dikkatli ve planlı bir şekilde yapılmalıdır. Endüstriyel alanlardaki katı atık problemleri, en az bu alanlardaki hava ve atıksu kadar önem arz etmekte olup, endüstriyel atıkların özel olarak bertaraf edilmesi gerekmektedir. Ülkemizde, endüstriyel atıkların bertaraf edildiği tesislerin yeterli sayıda olmaması, Avrupa Birliği ülkelerine ihracat yapan sanayi tesislerini zor durumda bırakmaktadır. Bu çalışmada yasal mevzuat çerçevesinde endüstriyel katı atıkların üretilmesinden bertarafına kadar geçen süreçler irdelenmiştir. | dc.description.abstract | With growing population and industrialization, both the diversity and amount of the solid wastes are increasing gradually. One of the most important problems which industrial facilities lead to is the solid wastes. Especially the danger of heavy metals and poisonous materials the industrial-origin wastes involve for surface and underground waters are closely related with human lives. The industrial wastes are classified into 3 groups as domestic, non-dangerous industrial, and dangerous solid wastes. It is an obligation to remove the industrial solid wastes within the borders of current laws and regulations without damaging the environment. In the opposite case in which the removal or elimination of wastes not in accordance with technic, it is clear that the negative effects will appear in near future. Rather than domestic solid wastes, the management of industrial solid wastes must be executed more carefully and planned from the aspect of diversity of them. The solid waste problem in industrial zones is of as great importance as air and wastewater in those zones do, and the industrial wastes must be eliminated in special ways. The lack of the number of industrial waste elimination facilities in our country leaves the companies exporting to European Union countries in a difficult situation. In this study, the process from production of industrial solid wastes to their removal within the legal regulation was investigated. Moreover, the difficulties experienced about the industrial solid waste management were considered. | |
