dc.description.abstractŞiblî Nu‘mânî yeni kelâm hareketinin Hindistan’daki en önemli temsilcilerinden biridir. Yaşadığı dönemde Hindistan’daki misyonerlik faaliyetleri artmış ve Batı menşeli inkârcı akımlar Müslüman halk üzerindeki olumsuz tesirini göstermeye başlamıştır. Nu‘mânî, bu olumsuzluklarla mücadele etme görevinin kelâm ilmine ait olduğunu, bununla birlikte kelâm ilminin yenilenmesi gerektiğini düşünmüştür. Ona göre kelâm ilmini yenilemek için öncelikle kelâmın geçirdiği tarihi süreci bilmek gerekir. Çünkü tarih bilincinden bağımsız bir yenilenme başarı kaydedemez. Bu nedenle Şiblî Nu‘mânî’nin bu konudaki düşünceleri ehemmiyetlidir. Bu makalenin amacı da onun kelâm tarihi hakkındaki görüşlerini ortaya koymaktır. Şiblî aynı zamanda bir tarihçidir ve “kelâm tarihi” literatürünün öncü ismidir. Kelâm tarihini nasıl ele aldığı, bu açıdan da önem taşımaktadır. Makalede ağırlıklı olarak betimleme yöntemi kullanılarak Şiblî’nin bu konudaki görüşlerine yer verilmiştir. Kelâm ilminin dönemleri, kelâmcı kabul ettiği âlimler, kelâm ilminin gerilemesi gibi konularda kendine özgü fikirlere sahip olduğu görülmüştür
dc.description.abstracthibl? Nu‘m?n? is one of the most important representatives of the new theological movement in India. During his lifetime, missionary activities in India increased and the denialist movements of Western origin started to show their negative influence on the Muslim people. Nu‘m?n? thought that the task of combating these negativities belonged to the science of kal?m, but that the science of kal?m should be renewed. According to him, in order to renew the science of kal?m, first of all, it is necessary to know the historical process of kal?m. Because a renewal independent of historical consciousness cannot achieve success. Therefore, Shibl? Nu‘m?n?’s thoughts on this subject is matter. The purpose of this article is to reveal his views on the history of kal?m. Shibl? is also a historian and the pioneer of the "history of kal?m" literature. How he handles the history of kal?m is also important in this respect. In the article, the method of description was mainly used and Shibl?’s views on this issue were revealed. It was seen that he had his own ideas about the periods of the science of kal?m, the scholars he accepted as theologians, the decline of the science of kal?m.
