Özet
Çalışmada propagandada uygulanan “sözleri çarpıtma ve tahripetme” tekniği “semantik şiddet” kavramıyla açıklanmaya çalışılmaktadır.Semantik şiddet, öncellikle dilsel yapılara uygulanan şiddettir; kavramlarıngeleneksel anlamlarına, tanımlarına, çağrışımlarına ve semantikbağlamlarına yönelik yapılan değişikliktir. Araştırmada göstergebilimselve semantik analiz teknikleri temelinde semantik şiddet uygulamasınınmekanizması, koşulları ve türleri incelenmektedir. Bu doğrultuda RusyaUkraynaçatışması esnasında kullanılan ve çok kısa zaman içinde iki dosthalkın birbirine düşman duruma gelmesinde rolü olan ifadelerin analiziyapılmaktadır. Değerlendirmede, semantik şiddet uygulamasının dilin entemel olan anlamlandırma ve iletişim sağlama fonksiyonlarınızorlaştırdığına ve toplumsal yaşam üzerinde olumsuz etki yarattığınavurgu yapılmaktadır.
The study aims to explain the technique of distorting and destroying the words, applied in propaganda, by the concept of semantic violence. Semantic violence is violence against language structures, in which traditional and generally accepted meanings, definitions, associations, and semantic contexts of concepts are subject to change. The research examines the mechanism, conditions and types of semantic violence using semiotic and semantic analysis techniques. For this purpose, we analyze a number of expressions used during the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, which influenced the sharp increase in hostility between two friendly nations. In the results, we point out that the practice of semantic violence impedes the basic functions of language such as cognition and communication, and thus negatively affects social life.
