Özet
Urbanisation is seen as a driving force for industrialisation, economic growth and increased prosperity, it has also brought environmental problems such as high resource and energy consumption. The aim of the study in this context, examines the relationship between urbanisation, industrialisation, renewable energy consumption, economic growth and environmental quality. In line with this purpose in the study was analysed using data from 19692022. ADF, PP, Lee Strazicich unit root tests, and Fractional Fourier Bootstrap ARDL test are applied to analyse the data. According to the study's findings, renewable energy efficiency has a positive effect on the load capacity factor, while urbanisation, industrialisation and economic growth have a negative effect on the load capacity factor. Therefore, it can be said that Türkiye is growing the economy by polluting the environment. Moreover, since Türkiye industrialisation supports a rapid urbanisation process, both industrialisation and urbanisation further increase the deterioration in environmental quality.
