| dc.description.abstract | Amaç: Türkiye’de ve dünyada şiddet olayları günden güne artan ve okullarda da yaygınlığı ile dikkat çeken bir problemdir. Bu çalışmada yükseköğretim öğrencilerinin akademisyenlerden algıladıkları şiddeti belirlemek amacıyla geçerli, güvenilir bir ölçüm aracı geliştirmektir. Yöntem: Akçam Öğrenci Şiddet Algısı Ölçeği’nin geliştirilmesi amacıyla 21 maddelik soru havuzu oluşturulmuş, uzman görüşleri doğrultusunda KGÖ.78 ve KGİ.93 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Çalışma 1101 kişilik bir örnekleme uygulanmıştır. Bulgular: Geliştirilmiş olan “Akçam Öğrenci Şiddet Algısı Ölçeği” tek boyut ve 9 maddeden oluşmakta olup, şiddet algısına yönelik varyansın 58.2’sini açıklayabilmektedir. Ölçeğin Cronbach α güvenilirlik katsayısı .90 olarak hesaplanmış olup, bu değer yüksek güvenilirliği ifade etmektedir. Bu ölçekten alınabilecek en düşük puan 9, en yüksek 45 puandır. Sonuç: Sonuç olarak, geliştirilen Şiddet Algısı Ölçeği, üniversite öğrencilerinin şiddet algısını değerlendirirken güvenilir bir araç sunmakta ve gelecekteki araştırmalar için önemli bir temel oluşturmaktadır. Bu ölçeğin kullanımının yaygınlaştırılması, üniversite ortamlarında şiddet algısının daha iyi anlaşılmasına ve buna yönelik etkili müdahalelerin geliştirilmesine katkı sağlayacaktır. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Aim: Violence is an increasingly prevalent problem in Türkiye and worldwide, with its widespread occurrence in schools drawing significant attention. The aim of this study is to develop a valid and reliable measurement tool to determine the violence perceived by higher education students from academicians. Methods: In order to develop the Student Violence perception scale, 21-item question pool was compiled and, in line with expert opinions, the CVS was calculated to be .78 and the CVI to be .93. The study was applied to a sample of 1101 people. Results: The “Akçam Student Perception of Violence Scale” consists of a single dimension with 9 items and explains 58.2% of the variance in perception of violence. The Cronbach’s α reliability coefficient of the scale was calculated as .90, indicating high reliability. Since there are no reverse-scored items, the minimum score that can be obtained from this scale is 9, while the maximum score is 45. Conclusion: The large-scale application of the scale can reveal the prevalence, determinants, and potential consequences of the perception of violence in the university environment more clearly. Additionally, the data obtained will support the shaping of strategies and educational programs aimed at combating violence, laying the foundation for creating a safer and healthier environment in universities. | |
