Erzurum ili oltu ilçesi ve yakın çevresi ekoturizm potansiyelinin swot analiz yöntemi ile belirlenmesi

Özet
Çalışma alanı olarak seçilen Erzurum iline bağlı Oltu ilçesi dağları, ormanları, yaylaları, gölleri, dere ve çayları gibi doğal varlıkları, 850 ile 3000 m arasında değişen, değişken topoğrafik yapısı, bünyesinde pek çok bitki ve hayvan barındıran flora ve fauna zenginlikleri, kanyonları ve ilginç jeolojik oluşumları, geleneksel ürünler ve el sanatları, yöresel mimari ve tarihsel zenginliği ile ekoturizm açısından önemli bir potansiyel oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, Oltu ilçesinin ekoturizm potansiyelini belirlemek amaçlanmıştır. Bu nedenle, 14 ve 22 Ağustos 2010 tarihlerinde 5’li Likert tipi sorularla hazırlanan anketlerin uzman değerlendirmesine sunulduğu SWOT Analizi tekniği kullanılmıştır. Yapılan SWOT Analizi ile çalışma alanının ekoturizm potansiyeli açısından, güçlü ve zayıf yönleri ile gelecekte oluşabilecek fırsat ve tehditlerin neler olabileceği belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır.
Oltu district of Erzurum selected as research region has important potential with regards of ecotourism with historical riches and regional architecture, canyons and interesting geological forms, traditional productions and handicrafts, variable soil structures between the elevations of 850 and 3000 m, variable flora and fauna riches includes so many biological diversities, natural assets such as mountains, plates, plateaus, valens and brooks. This study was conducted to determine ecotourism potential in Oltu district. In this respect, a SWOT analysis was conducted with experts in order to evaluate the questionnaires prepared with 5 scaled Likert type questions on the dates of August 14 and 22, 2010. With this SWOT analysis, it is aimed to determine what strengths, weaknesses and possible opportunities and threats in the future of research area could be in terms of ecotourism potentials.
