| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışma Finike ardıcının kozalak ve tohum özelliklerini ortaya koymak için yapılmıştır. Çalışmada örnekler Aydın ili Didim ilçesinden türün doğal olarak yetişip hâkim olduğu alanlardan seçilmiştir. Bakının, türün kozalak ve tohum özelliklerine etkisinin tespit edilmesi amacıyla her bir bakıdan; 20 ağacın her birinden 50 adet kozalak toplanmıştır. Bütün bu materyallerin laboratuar koşullarında ölçülebilen tüm özellikleri saptanmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre; Finike ardıcı Ege Bölgesinde çok sınırlı bir alanda yayılış göstermektedir ve yayıldığı alanlar daha önceden literatürde belirtilmiştir. Her bir ağaçta ortalama olarak 1102 adet kozalak bulunmakta ve bu kozalakların ortalama boyları 8,16 mm, çapları ise 7,54 mm’dir. Ortalama 0,36 gr gelen kozalaklardan yine ortalama 3,14 adet tohum çıkmakta ve tohumun bin tane ağırlığı 32,33 gr olarak tartılmıştır. | |
| dc.description.abstract | This study was done to determine cone and seed properties of Phoenician juniper. In this study, materials were collected from Didim district in Aydın, Turkey where this species has naturally grown up. For also determining the effect of aspect on the cone and seed properties, fifty cones from each twenty tree were collected. All of the properties of these materials that can be measured in the laboratory were determined. As a result of this study, Phoenician juniper has a restricted distribution in the Aegean region and the distribution areas have been pointed out in literature in advance. Each tree has 1102 cones in average and average length of these cones is 8.16 mm, as for the average diameter is 7.54 mm. The average weight of pine cones is 0.36 g and each cone include 3.14 seed in average and also, 1000 seeds weight is 32.33g. | |
