Özet
Herhangi bir hadisi tetkik etmek istediğimizde, atmamız gereken ilk adım, o hadisin kaynağını araştırmaktır. Sonrasında isnadı varsa, sağlam olup olmadığının tespitidir. Eğer sağlamsa, muhtevasının İslam‟ın temel esaslarına, Kur‟an‟a, Sünnet‟e, akla, tarihî gerçeklere vb. uygunluğunun araştırılmasıdır. Şüphesiz isnad değerlendirmesinde hadisin farklı tarîklerini bir araya getirmenin hadisi doğru anlamada önemi yadsınamaz. Dini anlama ve yaşamada Hz. Peygamber‟i sürekli takip eden sahabîlerin söz ve davranışlarından sahih ve sağlam olanları, zayıf ve uydurma olanlardan ayırmak gerekir. Zira alimlerimizin hadislerde aradığı çözümü bulamadıklarında, sahabenin konuyla ilgili görüşlerine başvurdukları tarihi bir gerçektir. Bu bağlamda yağmur duasıyla ilgili olan Hz. Ömer‟in sözünün de bu süreçten geçerek değerlendirilmesi gerektiği inancındayız.
When we want to examine any hadith, we have to take first step is to investigate the source of that hadith. Afterwards, If it has an isnad (supporting), it is to detect whether it is valid or not. If it is really valid, we have to research whether its content is suitability with the main principles of Islam, Quran, Sunnah, reason, historical truths or etc. Definitely, as we assessing of an isnad (supporting); it's very important to collect together of different rumours and ways (tariq) of hadith. We need to distinguish true and valid words and behaviours of the Holy Prophet's followers from the weak and fabricated one's on understanding and living of religion. When Islamic scholars couldn't find any solution about a problem, it's a historical fact that they applied to views of followers. In this context, we belive that it is necessary that, Umar's word about the "rain pray" (istisqa) has to be assessed in light of this process.
