Özet
Bilim ve fen bakımından orman niteliğini kaybetmiş, artık orman olarak korunmasında yarar görülmeyen alanların, orman dışına çıkarılması işlemi, sahil kesimlerinde ve büyük kentler çevresinde (İstanbul) arazi kullanımında en çarpıcı değişimlerle sonuçlanmıştır. Bu değişimler günümüzde çarpık kentleşme ve yanlış arazi kullanımı örnekleri olarak izlenmektedir.Bu çalışmanın amacı, İstanbul il sınırları içindeki orman alanlarında bulunan 2B arazilerinin güncel arazi kullanımını ve zamansal değişimini, yüksek çözünürlüklü uydu görüntüleri ve yardımcı veriler yardımıyla ayrıntıları ile belirlemektir. Farklı tarihli İkonos uydu verileri (2000, 2005 ve 2008) ve orman dışına çıkarılan alanları gösteren sayısal orman kadastro altlıkları, ortak projeksiyon sistemine getirildikten sonra çeşitli uzaktan algılama ve coğrafi bilgi sistemi teknikleri (CBS) yardımıyla orman sınırları dışına çıkarılan alanların güncel arazi kullanım durumları ve zamansal değişimleri saptanmış ve oluşturulan CBS veri tabanında kaydedilerek elde edilen sonuçlar harita, tablo ve grafik olarak sunulmuştur.
The procedure of the taking off the areas from the forest lands. that scientifically lost the forest identity and future opportunity being forest again had resulted with very dramatic changes in land uses in the vicinity of major cities and along the sea shores like Istanbul. This changes are accepted as unapproved land use and irregular urbanization. The aim of this study is to determinate the actual land use and temporal changes of the 2B areas by using ancillary data and high resolution satellite images. The satellite images used in the study were high resolution satellite images (years of 2000, 2005 and 2008). Besides these images, some maps and records that show the areas deducted from the forest lands have used and analyzed in Geographic Information Systems environment that enrich the sensitivity and reliability of the results. At the result, the actual land use and temporal changes of the 2B areas were determined and presented in maps, table and graphic forms
