Özet
Within the last 20-30 years, today the number of academics living and working all across the country has been rising as a result of opening universities in every cities and university units in every county. In this context, the salient part of this mass is composed of women. With regard to the places both for living and working, it is clear that the existing conditions are emerged as some significant problems for female academics who live and work in the periphery. By this work, it is aimed to describe the environments, conditions in where they are living and working, via the answers to the questions asked to the female academics working at the universities called the provincial universities, living in the periphery in the various regions throughout the country. Furthermore, this study is not only an academic-scientific study but also has a feature to enlighten the life of the female academics live and work under the periphery conditions.
