dc.description.abstractBilginin mahiyetinin ne olduğu ve kesinliğe nasıl ulaşılacağı sorusu kelâm ve felsefe disiplini ile meşgul olan âlimlerin zihnini meşgul etmiştir. Bu doğrultuda bilginin tanımı ve çeşitleri hakkında pek çok teori öne sürülmüştür. Özellikle kesin bilgiye nasıl ulaşılacağı sorusuna cevap arayan düşünürler, zihinde oluşan suretleri, vakıaya mutabık olup olmama durumlarını dikkate alarak tasnif etmiştir. İlgili taksimlerin öğeleri, taşıdıkları doğruluk ve kesinlik nitelikleri itibari ile cehaletten başlayıp ilme kadar uzanmaktadır. Felsefî kabulleri kelâm disiplini ile ilişkilendiren ve yazdığı kelâm kitaplarında felsefî muhtevayı yansıtan Şemseddîn es-Semerkandî (ö. 722/1322) kesin bilginin çeşitlerini farklı eserlerinde tartışmaktadır. Bu çalışma kesin bilginin kaynakları konusunda Semerkandî’nin, -yer yer çeşitli revizeler yapsa da- İbn Sînâ’dan (ö. 428/1037) etkilendiğini öne sürmektedir. Fakat Semerkandî, semiyyât bahislerini tartışırken mütevâtirâtın kesin bilgiye ulaşmak için yeterli olmadığını ancak karineler ile katiyete ulaşılabileceğini iddia ederek İbn Sînâcı gelenekten ayrılmıştır. Bunun yanında Semerkandî’nin bilgi anlayışının kendine özgü yönlerine dikkat çeken bu makalede ona göre doğruluk değeri açısından önermeler incelenip kesin bilgi anlamındaki ilmin kaynakları tartışılacaktır.
dc.description.abstractThe question of what the nature of knowledge is and how to reach certainty kept the philosophers busy. Hence, many theories have been brought up about the definition and types of knowledge. In particular, thinkers seeking an answer to the question of how to reach certain information have categorized the images formed in the mind, taking into account whether they agree with the actual events or not. The elements of these divisions, in terms of their accuracy and certainty, range from ignorance to knowledge. Shams al-D?n al-Samarqand? (d. 722/1322), who connects philosophical assumptions to the discipline of kal?m (theology) and reflects the philosophical content in his kal?m books, discusses the types of knowledge in his different works. This study argues that al-Samarqand? was influenced by Avicenna (d. 428/1037) regarding the sources of knowledge. However, while discussing semiyyat topics, al-Samarqand? differed from the Avicennian tradition, claiming that mutaw?tir?t is not sufficient to reach certain information, but that certainty can be reached with presumptions. In addition, this article draws attention to the unique aspects of al-Samarqand?’s understanding of knowledge, according to him, the propositions in terms of truth-value will be examined and the sources of exact knowledge will be discussed.
