Özet
Studies showed that kitsch is not just an aesthetic but a broader concept. It can be transposed to distinct fields, from intellectual to cultural. This study does this to the philosophy of language. Here, it shows what can be seen as kitsch (or kitsch experience) through the philosophy of language. There are kitsch experiences in our use of language. This study points to four different aspects: (1) discussions around the truth in the philosophy of language; (2) kitsch methods of it; (3) kitsch language activities; and (4) kitsch way of philosophy. In this sense, the study mentions inappropriate methods of language studies, speaking by cliches and hyperboles in our daily language, and life philosophy memes shared on social media, which are built on wrong knowledge. The author describes samples to see what these kitsch experiences look like. In the end, the study comes to the idea of the function of kitsch in relation to later theories in the philosophy of language. With its use and function, kitsch can offer a handy tool for our practical lives.
