Özet
Her insanın duası onun hayata bakışını yansıttığı gibi, ilâhî kitaplarda “Allah Dostu” ve “Ulusların Babası” olarak nitelenen Hz. İbrahim’in Kur’ân, İncil ve Tevrat’ta yer alan duaları da, bir yönden bu isimleri almasının nedenlerini ortaya koymakta, diğer yönden ise Müslüman, Hıristiyan ve Yahudi toplumlarının genel karakterlerini yansıtmaktadır. Tevrat’ın dünyevî şekilde, İncil’in ise tutarlılıktan uzak sevgi ekseninde tasvir ettiği Hz. İbrahim, Kur’ân’ın hikmet, şefkat, cesaret ve cömertliği üzerinde özellikle durduğu bir peygamberdir. Bu bağlamda Hz. İbrahim’in dualarında en göze çarpan hususlar ise, hayatın gerçeklerinden kopuk olmama, uzun vadeli düşünce, şefkat ve sevginin derin izleri ve en önemlisi fikir ve iman birliğinin bütün bağların üstünde tutulmasıdır.
As the prayer of every human being reflects his view of life, the prayers of Hz. Abraham, described as "the friend of Allah" and "the father of the Nations" in the divine books, taking place in the Qur'an, the Bible, and the Torah reveals the reasons for taking these names on one hand and reflects the general characters of Muslim, Christian, and Jewish societies on the other hand. Hz. Abraham, whom the Torah depicts in the earthly way and the Bible in the axis of love out of consistency, is a prophet whom the Qur'an particularly dwells on wisdom, compassion, courage and generosity. In this context, the most striking features of the prayers of Hz.Abraham are long-term thoughts, not to be disconnected from the truths of life, deep traces of love and compassion, and the most importantly, to keep the unity of faith and thought on top of all bonds.
