| dc.description.abstract | Gürcistan’dan göç edip Trabzon’un Of-Çaykara bölgesine yerleşen bir aileye mensup olan Gürcizâde Ahmed Efendi, Osmanlının son döneminde yetişen alimlerden biridir. Yöredeki hocalardan ilim tahsil etmiş, çeşitli medreselerde müderrislik yapmış ve çok sayıda talebe yetiştirmiştir. Ayrıca irşad hizmetlerinde de bulunmuştur. Bu çalışmada onun Of sahili ile Bayburt şehri arasında kalan bölgede geçen hayat hikayesi ana hatları ile ele alınacak, tahsil hayatı, ilmi kişiliği, eğitim faaliyetleri, icâzetnâmeleri, kütüphanesi, görev yaptığı medreseler konusunda daha detaylı bilgiler verilecektir. | |
